Wyldewood Gosling has a portion of residences that have been reserved for moderate to middle income, critical workforce such as teachers, nurses, first responders, retail and restaurant industry, law enforcement officials and other workers. The essential housing at Wyldewood Gosling enables these essential workers to live in the community where they work, avoid a lengthy commute, and spend more time with family.
When browsing through our online availability, please use the following guideline to identify homes that best fit your approved income limit: A floor plan with an “8” or “6” designation at the end denotes an essential housing floor plan.

Any applicant or household living in one of these essential residences can earn up to the following annual incomes. Income Restrictions will adjust based on number of household occupants as shown:
(60%) - .P6
· 1-person home may earn no more than $42,480 annually
· 2-person home may earn no more than $48,540 annually
· 3-person home may earn no more than $54,600 annually
· 4-person home may earn no more than $60,660 annually
· 5-person home may earn no more than $65,520 annually
(80%) - .P8
· 1-person home may earn no more than $56,640 annually
· 2-person home may earn no more than $64,720 annually
· 3-person home may earn no more than $72,800 annually
· 4-person home may earn no more than $80,880 annually
· 5-person home may earn no more than $87,360 annually
We will qualify you based on gross annual income, please call for additional details on acceptable proof of income.
Income Verification
- Most recent 4 weeks of consecutive paystubs are required
- Income verification other than employment (SS, SSI, monetary, pensions, etc.)
- Previous 2 year's tax return (if self-employed)
What Do I Need To Pre-Qualify?
To begin the application, please present the following documents:
- Complete application for every household member 18 years of age and older
- Income Verification Items
- Additional documents that may be required depending on each person’s individual income and assets
- 2 years of Resident or rental verification if applicable
Please note, all required documents must be submitted within 72 hours to process application. Our Essential Housing program is monitored and audited by the Houston Housing Authority.

Disclosure of Rental Requirements & Housing Choice Voucher Acceptance
We accept applicants for residents participating in the Housing Choice Voucher Program subject to their meeting all the other rental criteria for the property. Annual income recertifications and documentation related thereto will be required of all residents residing in these lower income units.
